Vendor Terms of Service.
These terms apply to all packers, movers, and logistics businesses registered on Puniyo. By registering, you agree to follow these terms and our Lead Quality Promise.
1. Acceptance
By registering your business on Puniyo, you agree to these Vendor Terms, the Lead Quality Promise, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not register or use the platform.
2. Eligibility & Verification
To be listed on Puniyo, you must:
- Be a legally registered business in India with a valid GSTIN.
- Provide a verifiable business address and PAN.
- Provide proof of vehicles, crew, or logistics capability.
- Pass our 5-step verification (business registration, GST/PAN, address, service history, feedback audit).
Providing false information results in immediate rejection and permanent blacklisting.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure.
- All activity under your account.
- Updating your business info when it changes.
- Responding to customer leads promptly.
One account per business entity. Multiple accounts for the same business are prohibited.
4. Wallet & Payments
Puniyo operates on a wallet-based lead unlock model:
- You add money to your vendor wallet.
- You unlock leads by paying a per-lead amount.
- No subscription, no commission, no brokerage.
- Wallet balance is refundable on account closure (except for consumed leads).
Verified fake leads are auto-refunded within 48 hours on dispute approval. See the Lead Quality Promise.
5. Lead Access & Use
When you unlock a lead, you receive:
- Customer name, phone number, and move details.
- Limited-time exclusive access.
- Right to contact the customer only about the specific move.
You may not:
- Re-sell or share the lead with other vendors.
- Add the customer to your independent marketing list without their consent.
- Contact them after the enquiry period for unrelated services.
6. Code of Conduct
You agree to:
- Contact customers professionally and promptly.
- Provide accurate, itemized quotes.
- Not pressure customers into bookings.
- Honor the quote you provide.
- Treat customers, their property, and their privacy with respect.
- Use trained, background-checked staff.
7. Prohibited Practices
The following will result in immediate suspension and possible legal action:
- Fake reviews or rating manipulation.
- Bait-and-switch pricing.
- Subcontracting without customer knowledge.
- Unverified subcontractors handling customer goods.
- Harassment of customers.
- Misrepresenting business details.
- Charging hidden fees after quote acceptance.
- Sharing customer data externally.
8. Reviews & Ratings
Customers may leave reviews after a move. Puniyo:
- Verifies reviews before publishing.
- Removes clearly fake or spam reviews.
- Does not modify review scores.
- Allows vendors to respond publicly.
You may appeal a review you believe is unfair within 15 days. See our Complaint Process.
9. Data Protection Obligations
You agree to comply with the DPDP Act 2023 and applicable data protection laws:
- Use customer data only for the specific enquiry.
- Delete customer data after your retention period.
- Protect it with reasonable security measures.
- Report data breaches to Puniyo within 24 hours.
- Not transfer data outside India without consent.
10. Disputes & Refunds
For a lead you believe was fake or invalid:
- Raise a dispute in your dashboard within 48 hours of unlocking.
- Provide evidence (call logs, no-response proof, incorrect data).
- Our team reviews within 2 working days.
- Approved disputes are refunded to your wallet within 48 hours.
11. Termination
Puniyo may terminate your account if:
- You violate these terms.
- You receive repeated quality complaints.
- You fail verification checks.
- You engage in fraud or misrepresentation.
You may close your account at any time. Pending wallet balance above ₹500 is refunded within 30 days.
12. Limitation of Liability
Puniyo provides leads on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee lead quality, conversion, or revenue. Our total liability to you is limited to the wallet amount spent on the disputed lead.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Guwahati, Assam.
