This page tells you exactly how Puniyo handles customer enquiries (leads) submitted through our platform. It answers one direct question: does Puniyo sell your data?
1. Summary — The Short Answer
We do not sell your phone number.
We do not run broker chains.
We do not share your details with unverified parties.
We share your enquiry only with verified vendors who match your city and service.
2. What Happens to Your Enquiry
When you submit an enquiry on Puniyo:
- You provide your name, phone number, pickup and drop cities, service type, and inventory details.
- We verify your phone number with a 6-digit OTP.
- We match your enquiry with verified vendors in your city who offer the service you requested.
- Those specific vendors receive your enquiry in their dashboard, including your name, phone number, and moving details.
- You receive calls or messages directly from those vendors.
Your data is never shared with anyone else beyond these matched vendors.
3. How Many Vendors See Your Enquiry

We deliberately cap the number to:
- Reduce spam calls for you.
- Give each vendor a fair chance to win the booking.
- Keep competition healthy without overwhelming you.
4. What We Never Do
We will never:
- Sell your phone number to third-party brokers.
- Publish your personal contact details publicly.
- Share your data with vendors outside your selected city or service category.
- Re-use your enquiry for a different service without new consent.
- Sell your email to marketing list providers.
- Reveal your full address to vendors before you accept their quote.
5. Data Retention

After these periods, data is permanently deleted or anonymized.
6. Vendor Obligations
Every vendor who receives your enquiry has agreed to:
- Use your data only to provide a moving quote.
- Not share your data with third parties.
- Not re-sell your enquiry to other movers.
- Not add you to their independent marketing lists without your consent.
- Comply with the DPDP Act 2023 and applicable data protection laws.
Vendors who violate these obligations are removed from the platform immediately.
